The SASCA autocross season for 2009 started early. In the rush I failed to post the course map from the 1/18/2009 event. My apologies…as always, click to expand:
Although most participants enjoyed the course, some found the variety of sweeping chicanes open to some confusing interpretation. What do (did, if your competed) you think?
Steve is the new eventmaster of SASCA this year & all agreed he did a great job! The times were in the lows 40’s and up, range.
The next SASCA autocross is next weekend, on February 1st, 2009. The plan is to get everyone run through & done & all put away in plenty of time to get to your favorite Super Bowl viewing location/party. The next course has already been designed – I will post it later in the week. It’ll be another good course.
Racing Ready is anticipating the advancement of the autocross season. To help re-inspire me forward, I’m re-reading Dave Gran’s book, Go Ahead – Take the Wheel.
It’s a good read – you should buy it if you are at all curious about SCCA/NASA club racing…
